Dear families,
Story telling isn’t just about reading books, retelling fairy tales or adapting a well-known story. This week our little bees in Nursery had a buzzing time during their role-play session after listening to the story of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”.
It was buzz watching them reciting the story having memorised the story line and acting at the same time.
“Someone has sat on my chair”, said Papa Bear. Someone has sat on my chair too” said Mama Bear. Baby Bear between tears, “Someone has sat on my chair too and it is broken….”.
Role-playing, particularly with the friends they know and trust, is a chance for them to use their imagination, be inventive and develop social skills.
Meanwhile our busy bees from K1, Pollen and Honey became Robotic Engineers for the day as they created various types of robots calling them toys of today. As they are still on the topic of “Technology”, they showed their creativity by using recycled items to make their robots. Upon completing their robots, the bees further enhanced their communication skills through ‘show and tell’ by sharing with their friends how their robot functioned.

We ended the buzzing month of October on a colourful note with our little bees making interesting craft to celebrate Children’s Day at the hive.

Penceritaan bukan sekadar hanya membaca buku, mencerita semula cerita dongeng atau mengesuaikan cerita yang terkenal. Pada minggu ini, anak-anak lebah dari Nurseri telah sibuk ketika sesi lakon-semula selepas mendengar cerita “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”.
Ia sungguh seronok melihat mereka hafal jalan cerita dan melakonkan semula.
“Seseorang telah duduk di atas kerusi saya”, kata bapa beruang. Seseorang telah duduk di atas kerusi saya juga” kata mak beruang. Anak beruang berlinang air mata, “Seseorang telah duduk di atas kerusi saya juga dan ia telah rosak…”.
Lakonan semula bersama kawan-kawan yang mereka kenal dan percaya adalah peluang untuk mereka menggunakan imaginasi, menjadi pereka dan mengembangkan kemahiran sosial.
Sementara itu, anak-anak lebah dari K1 “Pollen” dan “Honey” bertukar ke Jurutera Robot pada hari itu kerana mereka mencipta pelbagai jenis robot. Sepertimana mereka masih di dalam topik “Teknologi”, mereka telah menunjukkan kreativiti dengan menggunakan barang kitar semula untuk mencipta robot. Setelah siap mencipta robot mereka, anak-anak lebah menambahbaik kemahiran komunikasi melalui “menunjuk dan memberitahu” hasil kerja mereka dengan berkongsi bersama kawan-kawan.

Kita telah menamatkan bulan Oktober dengan satu nota yang berwarna-warni bersama anak-anak lebah dengan membuat kraf seni untuk menyambut Hari Kanak-Kanak di sarang.

讲故事不仅仅是读书,重述童话故事里面的情节或改编知名故事。 这周我们的小蜜蜂带来了扮演当讲述“金发姑娘和三只熊”的故事之后,在角色扮演环节中忙得不可开交。
真开心能看见他们背诵故事,记住故事的情节并同时表演。
“有人坐在我的椅子上”,熊爸爸说。“有人也坐在我的椅子上”,熊妈妈说。 小熊也忍着泪水说,“有人也坐在我的椅子上,而且还坏了……。”
角色扮演,尤其与他们认识和信任的朋友一起扮演角色是一个很好的机会让他们发挥想象力,发挥创造力和发展社交技能。
同时,我们忙碌的幼一班蜜蜂成为了当今的机器人工程师,他们创造了各种类型的机器人,并称它们为今天的玩具。由于他们仍然学习“科技”这个主题,他们通过使用回收物品制造机器人来展示自己的创造力。小蜜蜂完成机器人操作后,也和朋友分享展示和讲述机器人的功能性,从中也进一步增强了他们的沟通技巧。

不断地嗡嗡响结束了十月也为这个月份带来了许多色彩,我们的小蜜蜂制作了有趣的手工艺品,以庆祝儿童节。
