At Kinder Labz, art is more than just a subject; it’s a vital part of how we learn!
This week, we explored the bold world of Piet Mondrian. By exploring his signature primary colours and straight lines, our children are discovering that art can be simple yet incredibly powerful. As Ms Evelyn shared: “A blank canvas is one of the few places where you are completely in charge.”
That sense of ownership and creativity fuels everything we do, from our youngest learners to our graduating classes:
Pre-Nursery: Developed fine motor skills through “watermelon” sponge painting.
Nursery: Combined Math and Art by creating “Number 1” collage popsicles.
K1: Connected letters to sounds (s, a, t, i) through engaging sorting games.
K2: Built confidence in Bahasa Melayu by mastering suku kata and word-matching. Cambridge Junior Starters: Kicked off Term 1 by learning to “Introduce Yourself” and build essential communication skills.
Whether we are holding a paintbrush or a phonics card, we are nurturing hearts and minds together.
