Dear Parents and Guardians,
The buzz of learning continued at our Jalan Woodward hive this week with a kinetic sand play session for our littlest bees. Not afraid to get their hands dirty, our Pre-Nursery bees kneaded the sand and formed various shapes to the best of their imagination. Sand play is a cool way to enhance the development of fine motor skills and hand eye coordination of our little bees.
Our Nursery bees, on the other hand, had an interesting ‘insect hunt’ as they dug for insects in the sand while others brought live ones from home. Carefully observing the six-legged creatures, they learnt the names of each insect and their different body parts.
Over at our Bandar Baru Sri Klebang hive, our K1 bees had a ‘prickly’ art and craft activity as they folded green coloured paper into cactuses! They learnt that the thorny plant is found in hot and dry places.

Kesibukan pembelajaran diteruskan di sarang Jalan Woodward kami minggu ini dengan bermain pasir kinetik. Tidak takut untuk mengotorkan tangan mereka, lebah Pre-Nursery kami menguli pasir kinetic dan membentuk pelbagai bentuk mengikut imaginasi mereka. Bermain pasir kinetik ialah cara yang menarik untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kemahiran motor halus dan koordinasi mata tangan lebah kecil kita.
Lebah Nursery kami, sebaliknya, ‘memburu serangga’ dengan menggali serangga di dalam pasir manakala ada juga yang membawa yang hidup dari rumah. Dengan teliti memerhati makhluk berkaki enam itu, mereka mempelajari nama setiap serangga dan bahagian tubuh mereka yang berbeza.
Di sarang di Bandar Baru Sri Klebang pula, lebah K1 kami melakukan aktiviti seni dan kraf yang ‘berduri’ sambil melipat kertas berwarna hijau untuk dijadikan bentuk seperti kaktus! Mereka juga kini mengetahui bahawa tumbuhan berduri itu boleh ditemui di tempat yang panas dan kering.

本周在我们 Jalan Woodward的蜂巢里继续传来学习的嗡嗡声，为我们最小的蜜蜂提供了动力沙的游戏。我们幼儿预备班的小蜜蜂揉捏沙子，不怕弄脏自己双手，依据他们最佳的想象，形成各种形状。玩沙能增强我们小蜜蜂精细运动技能和手眼协调能力的一种很酷的方式。
另一方面，我们幼儿班的小蜜蜂体验了一次有趣的“昆虫捕猎”，它们会在沙子中挖掘昆虫，而有的蜜蜂则会从家里带来了活的昆虫。仔细观察六足生物，他们了解了每一种昆虫的名称和身体不同的部位。
在我们Bandar Baru Sri Klebang的蜂巢中，我们幼一班的蜜蜂进行了“充满刺”的艺术和手工艺活动，把绿色纸折成仙人掌！他们了解到这种带刺的植物生长在炎热干燥的地方。
