Buzz, Buzz, Little Bees! Our Weekly Highlights!

Another week, another adventure at Kinder Labz! Our Pre-Nursery children explored shapes while our Nursery little bees revised Mandarin words for things in the sky. Our K1 little scientists discovered noisy and quiet sounds in different places, while our K2 learners explored family members in Bahasa Melayu.

The fun continued during assembly as our little bees sang and danced to Walking Walking, Kalau Rasa Gembira and 一闪一闪亮晶晶 (Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star)!

What a wonderful week filled with exciting discoveries, joyful learning and happy little faces!

This week’s learning highlights;

• Pre-Nursery’s project for the creative art and craft session is making adorable paper giraffes using the shape of their hands.
• Nursery is engaging in a balancing physical education activity by arranging balls in a row of overturned cups.
• K1 is building and arranging scrambled words into sentences in English literacy.
• K2 is exploring Science with the topic of Electricity. They discussed which home appliances require electricity and which don’t.

As usual, during assembly we danced and sang to all three languages’ songs: Gummy Bear, Anggota Badan and 早晨洗漱歌 (Morning Wash and Rinse Song). We listened to the moral story of The Ant and the Dove and learnt the importance of kindness, gratitude and helping others, discovering that one good deed deserves another. Every day is school is a blessed!
