Another fun week at the hive! Let’s see what our little bees have been up to!

Pre Nursery
Had fun learning numbers in Mandarin. 一、二、三… let’s count together!

Nursery
Big letters or small letters? They explored uppercase and lowercase letters in their English Literacy lesson.

K1
Numbers, numbers everywhere! They worked on addition problems and put their maths skills to the test.

K2
Had fun with Bahasa Melayu, learning how to combine digraphs with syllables.

Merdeka Celebration
The Merdeka spirit is buzzing at our hive! Our little Malaysians came dressed in their traditional costumes and beautiful Jalur Gemilang outfits. They marched together while singing Tanggal 31 and Saya Anak Malaysia

When I Grow Up: The Kinder Labz Career Series
Our August guest, Mr Faiz, brought a little surprise for our K1 & K2 children! He came with a booth serving fresh chocolate drinks from Cream Coffee Co.

Learning about careers while enjoying a yummy chocolate drink? Now that’s a fun day at the hive!

Let’s take a sneak peek at what our little bees have been up to in the Hive this week!

 Our Pre-Nursery bees took their learning outdoors , strengthening their muscles while developing their balance and coordination. Our Nursery bees explored different elements of nature through an engaging Mandarin lesson. Our K1 bees had fun playing with dice while sharpening their phonics knowledge. And our K2 bees went “fishing” using a balloon and the magic of static electricity! What? How exciting!

Excitement is our root word — and we do everything exciting every single day!

From our littlest explorers to our graduating seniors, learning is always an adventure here:

Pre-Nursery: Discovered the joy of rhythm and tuned up their listening skills with fun sensory shakers!

Nursery: Ready for takeoff! The children explored the parts of an airplane—from wings to propellers—through creative art & craft.

K1: Dived into the world of numbers with an engaging and hands-on Number Bonds lesson.

K2: Brought the energy to PE with an active and exciting Hoop & Transfer game!

To top it all off, our little ones were reminded that friendship grows best in a heart filled with kindness through the heartwarming story of ‘The Kind Cat’ during assembly.

A Happy Week at Kinder Labz!

Our Pre-Nursery little ones had so much fun with storytelling and role-playing, bringing The Lion and His Friends to life! Meanwhile, our Nursery children challenged themselves with a fun obstacle course, developing their balance and body control.

Our K1 learners were busy mastering suku kata KV + KV in Bahasa Melayu, while our bigger K2 children explored one of Malaysia’s most iconic dishes — Nasi Lemak. They got creative and brought this beloved signature dish to life through art.

From storytelling to movement, language and creativity, there’s always something exciting happening at Kinder Labz!

A week filled of happy thoughts and wonderful memories!

Last Saturday was our Trolls: Search for Happy concert, and it was truly a beautiful event. The excitement has stayed with us all week, and we are still talking about the wonderful moments we shared.

This week, we also celebrated International Friendship Day, creating even more meaningful memories together as we continue our joyful journey.  To make the week even more extraordinary, we wrapped it up with the Kinder Labz Career Series, featuring ASP Jayan Suppramaniam from IPD Ipoh, who gave our children an exciting glimpse into the life of a police officer.

Along the way, our young scientists explored the magic of colours through a chromatography experiment, discovering how different colours can separate and blend in fascinating ways.

At Kinder Labz, every week is like painting rainbows across the clouds. So colourful, so lively!

Despite busy daily rehearsals for our upcoming concert, our little bees are still buzzing with energy in the hive!

From recognising letters in Pre-N & Nursery and exercising with K1, to experimenting with the magic of oil and water in K2, our days have been packed with fun. We also learnt about “The Power of Patience” during assembly while celebrating our bright Stars of the Week.

All this hard work leads up to the big moment tomorrow! We would love to see everyone at The Kinder Labz Concert Trolls: Search for Happy!

Another fun week at Kinder Labz!

Our Pre-N children explored their senses through a colourful science experiment using baking soda, vinegar, dish soap, and food colouring.

Nursery children built their confidence in recognising and using huruf vokal during their Bahasa Melayu lesson.

K1 immersed themselves in an engaging Mandarin lesson with the topic of sports equipment, while our K2 learners took their English lesson outdoors. What a refreshing way to learn!

Weekly Buzz at Kinder Labz!

We had a peaceful, productive, and happy week of learning in the hive! Here’s what our amazing students achieved:

• Pre-Nursery: Mastered number matching through fun, hands-on games!

• Nursery: Discovered the Mandarin characters for ‘sky’ (天) and ‘sun’ (日).

• K1: Dived into science to study the basic needs of plants.

• K2: Teamed up to match Bahasa Melayu suku kata KVKV words!

Assembly Highlight: We shared the story of The Cap Seller and The Monkeys, learning that intelligence and creativity are a human’s greatest strengths!

Another beautiful week at Kinder Labz Jalan Woodward, Ipoh!

Our little bees have been buzzing with so much energy, curiosity and joy this week. We could not be prouder of every single one of them!

Here are some highlights!

Dental Check-Up Nurses from Klinik Kesihatan Greentown paid us a visit to conduct dental screenings and teach our children the correct way to brush their teeth. Great smiles start young!

Mid-Year Parent-Teacher Conference It was so wonderful seeing so many of our parents come in to connect with our teachers, celebrate their children’s progress and discuss ways to support their little ones at home. It truly takes a village!

Experiment of the Week Our K1 scientists discovered what happens when you add salt to water and why eggs float! Curious minds at work.

Kinder Labz Career Series Our K1 and K2 children were treated to an inspiring talk by Mr Aaron Chen, a Malaysian Licensed Tourist Guide! Who knows, we may have some future tour guides in our midst!

Sports and Swimming Our little athletes kept active in the pool and on the badminton court this week. Strong bodies, strong minds!

Stars of the Week A huge congratulations to all our shining stars across Pre-Nursery, Nursery, K1 and K2 this week. You make us so proud every single day!
