Dear Families,
Five little ducks went out one day,
Over the hill and far away,
Mother duck said, ‘Quack, quack, quack’,
But only four little ducks came back…..
Our Pre-Nursery children had a buzzing time singing their hearts out to this educational rhyme while waddling around with little duck puppets they made earlier. This activity provided our little bees the opportunity to learn how to count as they sang ‘Five Little Ducks’ backwards in repetition until there were no ducks left.
‘The cotton wool is so soft.’
The Pre-Nursery bees also explored the tactile sensation of cotton as they pasted cotton wool onto the picture of lambs during their Arts & Craft activity. This activity helped enhance their hand eye coordination as well as fine motor skills development. To round up the lesson, the little bees happily broke into chorus to ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’.
Our K1 bees had an interactive discussion with their beekeeper on the different types of clothing and accessories suitable for each gender during their Mandarin lesson. At the end of the lesson, they were able to correctly match picture cards of clothing with Mandarin vocabulary to a boy or a girl. This activity helped develop both their spoken Mandarin and word recognition skills. Well done, K1 bees.

Kanak-kanak dari Pra-Nurseri berasa sungguh seronok menyanyi dengan penuh gembira mengikut rentak irama pendidikan sambil berjalan-jalan bersama patung itik yang mereka buat sebelum itu. Aktiviti ini memberi peluang kepada anak-anak lebah kecil kami untuk mempelajari bagaimana untuk mengira ke belakang semasa mereka menyanyikan lagu “Five Little Ducks” dengan mengulangi sehingga tiada itik yang tinggal.

Lebah dari Pra-Nurseri juga mengeksplorasi sensasi taktil kapas dimana mereka menampal bulu kapas ke atas gambar anak kambing ketika aktiviti Seni & Kraf mereka. Aktiviti ini membantu meningkatkan koordinasi tangan dan mata mereka serta juga perkembangan kemahiran motor halus. Sebagai penutup, anak-anak lebah dengan gembiranya menyanyi bahagian korus “Mary had a Little Lamb”.
Anak-anak lebah dari K1 telah mengadakan perbincangan yang interaktif bersama penjaga lebah mereka tentang pelbagai jenis pakaian dan aksesori yang sesuai untuk setiap jantina semasa pelajaran Mandarin mereka. Pada penghujung pelajaran, mereka dapat memadankan gambar dengan betul mengikut jantina perempuan dan lelaki. Aktiviti ini membantu mengembangkan percakapan Mandarin dan mengenali perkataan. Syabas anak-anak lebah K1.
Kami mengucapkan kepada semua ibu bapa untuk kekal selamat dan gembira pada hujung minggu. Kami tidak sabar untuk minggu seterusnya dimana kami akan berjumpa anda untuk Persidangan Ibubapa dan Guru pada 15 dan 16 Julai.

我们预备幼儿班的孩子们一边唱着这首富有教育意义的儿歌，一边拿着他们之前制作的小鸭子木偶蹒跚而行，度过了一段热闹的时光。这项活动为我们的小蜜蜂提供了学习如何计数的机会，他们重复唱着 “Five Little Ducks”，直到没有鸭子了。

预备幼儿班的小蜜蜂们在艺术与手工活动中把棉絮粘贴在小羊的图片上，也借此探索了棉花的触觉。这项活动有助于提高他们的手眼协调和精细运动技能的发展。最后，小蜜蜂们高兴地合唱了 “Mary had a Little Lamb”。
我们幼一班的蜜蜂在华语课上与养蜂人就适合不同性别的服装和配饰进行了互动讨论。在课程结束时，他们能够正确地将带有华语词汇的服装图片卡与男孩或女孩配对。这一活动有助于提高他们的华语口语和单词识别能力。干得好，幼一班的小蜜蜂们!
