Despite busy daily rehearsals for our upcoming concert, our little bees are still buzzing with energy in the hive!

From recognising letters in Pre-N & Nursery and exercising with K1, to experimenting with the magic of oil and water in K2, our days have been packed with fun. We also learnt about “The Power of Patience” during assembly while celebrating our bright Stars of the Week.

All this hard work leads up to the big moment tomorrow! We would love to see everyone at The Kinder Labz Concert Trolls: Search for Happy!

Another fun week at Kinder Labz!

Our Pre-N children explored their senses through a colourful science experiment using baking soda, vinegar, dish soap, and food colouring.

Nursery children built their confidence in recognising and using huruf vokal during their Bahasa Melayu lesson.

K1 immersed themselves in an engaging Mandarin lesson with the topic of sports equipment, while our K2 learners took their English lesson outdoors. What a refreshing way to learn!

Weekly Buzz at Kinder Labz!

We had a peaceful, productive, and happy week of learning in the hive! Here’s what our amazing students achieved:

• Pre-Nursery: Mastered number matching through fun, hands-on games!

• Nursery: Discovered the Mandarin characters for ‘sky’ (天) and ‘sun’ (日).

• K1: Dived into science to study the basic needs of plants.

• K2: Teamed up to match Bahasa Melayu suku kata KVKV words!

Assembly Highlight: We shared the story of The Cap Seller and The Monkeys, learning that intelligence and creativity are a human’s greatest strengths!

Another beautiful week at Kinder Labz Jalan Woodward, Ipoh!

Our little bees have been buzzing with so much energy, curiosity and joy this week. We could not be prouder of every single one of them!

Here are some highlights!

Dental Check-Up Nurses from Klinik Kesihatan Greentown paid us a visit to conduct dental screenings and teach our children the correct way to brush their teeth. Great smiles start young!

Mid-Year Parent-Teacher Conference It was so wonderful seeing so many of our parents come in to connect with our teachers, celebrate their children’s progress and discuss ways to support their little ones at home. It truly takes a village!

Experiment of the Week Our K1 scientists discovered what happens when you add salt to water and why eggs float! Curious minds at work.

Kinder Labz Career Series Our K1 and K2 children were treated to an inspiring talk by Mr Aaron Chen, a Malaysian Licensed Tourist Guide! Who knows, we may have some future tour guides in our midst!

Sports and Swimming Our little athletes kept active in the pool and on the badminton court this week. Strong bodies, strong minds!

EXPERIMENT OF THE WEEK!

Our little scientists explored the infamous Skittles Experiment! Watch out for those wide eyes and big smiles as they watched a beautiful rainbow of colors swirl together right before their eyes!

Here is what else our classes achieved:

Pre-Nursery: Tackled the letter Nn with a fun twist—turning letter cards into blooming yellow flowers! They also mastered spotting the difference between ‘N’ and ‘M’!

Nursery: Creativity was at an all-time high! Our artists crafted gorgeous paper loop peacocks.

K1: Ni hao! During Mandarin class, K1 learnt their basic shapes: circle (圆形), triangle (三角形), square (正方形) and rectangle (长方形).

K2: Big numbers, big brains! Our K2 superstars were completely absorbed in solving number sequences from 51 to 100!

High fives all around for a fantastic week!

We are back at school as we continue Term 2 after a wonderful celebration of the 2026 Kinder Labz Sports Day! Let’s take a look at this week’s highlights.

Pre Nursery is progressing in Mathematics, focusing on numbers 1 to 5.
Nursery is strengthening their Bahasa Melayu skills with the letter Ww.
K1 is exploring the fascinating features of animals and discovering how some features help animals protect themselves!
K2 is having fun with art and craft, this week creating a parrot using handprint shapes.

We are truly proud and inspired by the remarkable progress our children are making this term.

Bubbles, water splashes and yummy fun cooking!

Our little ones had so much fun playing together throughout the week. They started every morning with energetic Zumba and exciting games, then enjoyed creative activities like craft making, bubble play and yummy cooking sessions where they made and tasted their own delicious treats!

The fun continued with outdoor water play, science experiments and teamwork games that filled every day with laughter and happy memories. It was truly a wonderful time for all our children!

It has been an incredibly busy week at Kinder Labz! Even with public and school holidays, our hive has been keeping all the little bees occupied with sports day rehearsals and regular lessons.

Our learners have been working hard:

Pre-Nursery: Exploring Mandarin writing in strokes.

Nursery: Enhancing their A- Z alphabet recognition.

K1: Advancing their maths skills with numbers 21 to 30.

K2: Making great progress in Bahasa Melayu with a Suku Kata Tertutup lesson.

On top of that, our older K1, K2 and Holiday Programme children thoroughly enjoyed an inspiring Career Series talk with Dr Vinoshinie Regoo, all while our full Holiday Programme for kids aged 6 to 13 continues to run strong!

What a week of learning and laughter at Kinder Labz!

Our little ones explored science by sorting materials, practised Mandarin strokes with colourful pom-poms and strengthened their reading skills with fun phonics games. From cup-transferring exercises to exciting assemblies, every day was filled with discovery and joy.

A gentle reminder from Ms. Evelyn: “Let’s not spend childhood rushing through it. Pause, laugh a little longer and savour these precious moments with your child.”
